GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio – With summer comes the inevitable orange barrels and maintenance work on roadways.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, pull over and be aware of workers along the road.
The Ohio Department of Transportation District 10 has scheduled to be doing maintenance work the week of June 12, 2017 in Gallia County along with the region.
In Gallia County there will be multiple projects. There will be work on State Route 141 at State Route 325 for tree trimming. Also on State Route 141 at Mud Bridge Road to German Ridge Road work will be done on ditching along the road.
Throughout Gallia County there will also be guardrail and other repairs along with mowing along roadways.
Also there will be work in Vinton County at State Route 278 for asphalt repair, culvert cleaning and ditching. There will also be shoulder sweeping along US 50 and throughout the county there will mowing on various routes.
In Athens County, there will be work on State Route 329 at State Route 550 to Linscott Run Road for culvert replacement. There will also be mowing throughout the county.
